Emergency & Crisis Response

Keep your employees safe abroad

When every second counts, we act; with intelligence, experience, and humanity. Dyami stands by to support your organization and your people during crises; wherever they are.

Whether it’s conflict, civil unrest, natural disaster, or personal emergency: we help you navigate chaos with clarity and action. Our approach combines intelligence, direct support, and a global network to protect lives and ensure continuity - before, during, and after a crisis.

A trusted global network
When local knowledge matters most

Our strength lies not only in what we know, but in who we know and trust. Dyami’s global network includes former intelligence officers, aviation experts, local security partners, fixers, and regional specialists in over 60 countries. These aren’t just names in a database — they’re people we’ve worked with under pressure. When borders close, comms go dark, or a situation escalates fast, this network becomes your lifeline. It enables us to act swiftly and discreetly — getting eyes on the ground, confirming ground truth, and delivering tailored, on-the-ground solutions that make a difference when it matters most.

“We’re not just pushing information—we help you in every case where seconds matter, it’s our network, our people, and our human-centric approach that make the difference.”
— Eric Schouten, Founder & CEO

Real-World response
What this looks like

Sudan – Evacuation during armed conflict

When the violence erupted in Khartoum in 2023, Dyami provided direct evacuation coordination for several European nationals. We guided them — step by step — to reach safe zones, coordinated with diplomatic channels, and ensured safe exit across borders, even as airspace closed and ground routes became treacherous.

Israel – Rapid advice during Hamas attacks

During the sudden escalation in October 2023, Dyami clients with staff on the ground in Tel Aviv received immediate alerts, decision-support briefings, and ongoing route assessments. We also assisted clients in relocating teams to safer areas, working in parallel with airline and consular partners.

Lebanon – Remote monitoring and local coordination

When tensions spiked along the Israeli-Lebanese border, we provided real-time updates and security analysis to clients operating in Beirut. A contingency plan for emergency evacuation was prepared in under 12 hours, including ground transport options and staging locations.

Yemen – Quiet extractions under radar

For a client operating in the humanitarian sector, Dyami helped facilitate the departure of staff when a flare-up threatened their base of operations. We provided discreet coordination with local contacts to enable departure through a non-commercial route, maintaining full operational confidentiality.

United States – Support after mass shooting

After a Dyami client was caught in a lockdown situation during a mass shooting event in the U.S., we provided remote crisis coaching, mental health first aid, and liaison with local law enforcement. Within hours, the traveler was safely relocated and received post-incident psychological support.

Human-Centric, intelligence-led

At Dyami, we never forget that emergencies involve real people. Behind every alert is a person’s safety, a family’s worry, or a company’s duty of care. That’s why our emergency response goes beyond logistics, we bring calm, connection, and care to the most difficult moments.

Kabul: A Mission That Defined Us

In August 2021, as the Taliban rapidly advanced and Kabul fell into chaos, Dyami was on the front line of one of the most complex emergency operations in our history. With commercial flights grounded and the situation deteriorating by the hour, we supported dozens of individuals — including NGO staff, researchers, dual nationals, and their families — in finding safe passage out of Afghanistan.

While official evacuation channels were overwhelmed or inaccessible, we worked behind the scenes: verifying manifests, coordinating safe movements to airport gates, and leveraging personal relationships with diplomats, military contacts, and local fixers.

Some of those we assisted had no formal evacuation sponsor. In these cases, Dyami became their voice — pushing for action when systems stalled and helping people navigate not only physical checkpoints but bureaucratic ones as well.

For us, this mission wasn’t about headlines. It was about human lives, operational improvisation, and doing what was right — even when the odds weren’t in our favor.

The Kabul evacuation became a defining moment in how we operate: fast, discreet, deeply connected, and relentless in our pursuit of safety for those who trust us.
